EU Commission and Breakthrough Energy Catalyst announce new partnership to support investments in clean technologies for low-carbon industries

CCUS SET-Plan is monitoring funding opportunities for the deployment of CCUS technologies. The European Commission and Breakthrough Energy have recently announced the Catalyst Partnership. This new partnership mobilises up to €820 million between 2022-26 to invest in a portfolio of high-impact, EU-based, clean technologies with a recognised potential to reduce GHG emissions. Such investments represent a relevant opportunity to fund CCUS technologies, being recognised as an essential solution towards EU climate goals.
